The Unicorn is a historic pub that was previously a coach house. It has been in continuous use since at least 1760 and has been known as The Unicorn since the early 19th century. A regular tour guide of Richmond town comes through The Unicorn. The Unicorn is a busy and lively pub with very friendly staff and locals we offer a range of different cask ales each week and a wide variety of beverages. Please note The Unicorn is very busy on weekends and entertains a DJ & Disco on until 1am every Friday Saturday and bank holidays all rooms are affected by noise. There is a pool table and two dart boards and a huge beer garden there is also a stage in the garden where local talent performs regularly. The Unicorn is a non-smoking Inn with a spacious smoking area outside. Children and house trained pets are welcome dog beds are provided.

Get off at Richmond Market Place outside the Town Hall. Take a short walk up Finkle Street onto Newbiggin.
