Orkney Guest House is an 18th century townhouse situated close to the shops and amenities of Berwick town centre and within walking distance of the Elizabethan Walls built in the last 16th century.The Maltings arts venue is close by and the shops bars and restaurants of Bridge Street. The town has excellent bus and rail links to Newcastle and Edinburgh. The Cheviots and countryside of North Northumberland and within easy reach by car or bus. Villages such as Etal and Ford are worth a visit as are Paxton House and the Chain Bridge Honey Farm. br / br / br / br / We currently have 2 rooms for guests: a family suite on the top floor which consists of a double room and single bedroom with adjoining shower room. This sleeps 3 but there is a fold- down bed which allows for an additional person. On the 1st floor there is a spacious double bedroom with adjoining bath/shower room. Tea and coffee is provided TVs and free internet access. Breakfast is served between 8 and 9 although can be provided earlier by arrangement. Local produce is sued where possible.
