The Swan & Talbot is a traditional pub in the centre of the bustling Yorkshire market town Wetherby. With low ceilings in the pub and restaurant a large open fire place cosy snug area and decor befitting a 400 year old coaching inn our staff will offer you a warm welcome whether it s for an overnight stop off or longer break. We have a large free car park in the centre of Wetherby just behind the pub which has easy access to the back door. br / br / br / br / Wetherby stands on the River Wharfe and historically being the midway point between London and Edinburgh. With an abundance of amenities throughout its picturesque settings it is most famous for Wetherby Racecourse a great day out for all. Visitors to Wetherby can find fantastic riverside walks along the Wharfe which has a number of routes both up and down the river many with picnic areas all culminating in an area near the wier in the centre of Wetherby next to a large free car park. br / br / br / br / Ideally located between Leeds Harrogate and York and combined with excellent transport links makes it a great place to visit and stay. The Swan and Talbot is under a five minute drive from the A1 and is the perfect location to base yourself whether it be a business meeting an activity weekend or just a relaxing weekend away. br / br / br / br / We are huge supporters of the local produce which we believe is the best in the country and we champion this local produce on our menus we have our main menu which is served in the bar and restaurant area from Midday which is joined by a smaller sandwich and lighter bites menu over the lunch period. Our breakfast menu has a range of options including a full English breakfast eggs benedict and smaller breakfast sandwiches along with other items. Directions to The Swan and Talbot Wetherby

A1(M) Junction 45 - Road: On exiting the motorway coming from the North or South follow the signs to Wetherby continue down the A168 to Wetherby. Take the second exit on the roundabout onto Boston Road this will lead you into Wetherby and across a bridge. Directly after the bridge you will arrive at a mini roundabout in the centre of Wetherby take the second exit straight over and continue up the road (North Street) for 0.5 mile. The Swan and Talbot is on your right after the public gardens. Parking is behind the Pub. br/ br/ A1(M) Junction 46 - Road: Head West off the roundabout following the signs to Wetherby. Travel down the B1224 for a short distance until you get to a roundabout take the second exit onto Deighton Road (B164) this leads onto North Street Wetherby. After driving for 1 mile you will see the Swan and Talbot on your left a short distance after a mini roundabout.
