Douneside House is situated in the Scottish Highlands steeped in history and full of character. Following a major renovation our historic house re-opened its doors on the 1st June 2016 offering guests a luxurious Scottish countryside stay. Set within the grounds of the MacRobert Estate in Aberdeenshire the main House features 14 beautiful guest rooms. The current refurbishment includes a complete re-design of each room to create a classic-contemporary style whilst retaining important elements of Douneside s original character through the careful placement of individual pieces of antique furniture and precious artwork.

Directions to Douneside House Aboyne

From Perth - Head through Dundee in the direction of Aberdeen. Take the exit at Stonehaven and head for Aboyne through Banchory. In Aboyne turn right to drive through Tarland just before you leave Tarland you will see the sign on the Left for Douneside.
