Leave the M6 at junction 36 and follow A591 to Windermere. At the Railway Station turn left through the village of Windermere proceed towards Bowness on Windermere and the lake on Lake Road. After approx. half a mile go over a zebra crossing and turn left into Thornbarrow Road. Hillthwaite House is on the skyline on the right.
