A licensed Victorian Guest House with 8 individually designed en-suite bedrooms situated just a 10 minute stroll from both the town centre & seafront in the delightful harbour town of Ilfracombe. Why not have a drink & relax in the lounge bar or terraced gardens to the rear of the property. Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room offering a wide selection of Fruit Juices & Cereals before being served with freshly cooked breakfast from a choice of English or Vegetarian being available. Children of all ages are welcome also well behaved dogs for a nominal fee.

Directions to Strathmore Ilfracombe

M5 - Road: Leave M5 at Junction 27 onto the A361. Follow the A361 all the way to Barnstaple (ignore the sign part of the way along the A361 saying Ilfracombe to the right). When you reach Barnstaple take turning to the left torwards Ilfracombe. On the 2nd Roundabout take a right straight over next Roundabout and at the traffic lights take a left. Follow A361 into Ilfracombe. As you enter Ilfracombe there is a pub Cooks Island on your left. We are located approx 1 mile down the hill on the left. Barnstaple - Bus: Take the coach from Barnstaple Bus Station. If you sit on the right hand side of the bus so you are closest to the pavement you will pass a Pub on your left called Cooks Island this is you entering Ilfracombe. Going down a long hill as the hill starts to reduce you will start to see a few Guest Houses. We are in a group of 6 guest houses with a bright yellow sign on your left. Bar stop 2 doors down. Ask the drived for the Bicclescombe Park Stop on St Brannocks Road.
