Freshwater Bay House occupies an iconic coastal location beneath the chalk cliffs of Tennyson Down with direct access to the beach. Many of the bedrooms have wonderful sea views with others overlooking the extensive grounds. Dating from the 1790s this prominent local landmark is now a very comfortable Country House with a spacious and relaxing feel. During your stay you can relax with our comfortable lounge enjoy a drink in our Dandelion cafe or use our outdoor swimming pool. If you re exploring the island by foot or by bike we have a well equipped boot and drying room and an excellent selection of maps guidebooks and walk directions which guests can borrow. Communal dining at fixed dinner times.

Freshwater Bay House is 4 miles from the ferry terminal at Yarmouth. We are situated close to the seafront at Freshwater Bay. Alternatively the transfer from Yarmouth to Freshwater Bay can be made by taxi (allow £8.50 per journey less if shared) or by local bus.
