The Balmoral Hotel is a traditional Scottish coaching Inn located in the lovely small town of Moffat Dumfriesshire. We offer great food and accommodation and if you are looking for a friendly welcome in a relaxed and informal setting then we are sure you will enjoy your stay with us in Moffat. Easy access to the motorway network - just 5 mins from junction 15 on the M74 (Beattock turn off). The Balmoral Hotel is a small 16 bedroom hotel situated in Moffat a lovely small town in Dumfriesshire. All our food is locally sourced as far as possible and freshly cooked in our country kitchen. All our accommodation including the cottages are let on a B&B basis. Our accommodation consists of a selection of single and double rooms as well as several suites all situated on the first and second floors of the Hotel. We also have two lovely cottages in the courtyard to the rear of the building.

From Carlisle travel north along the A/M 74 for approx. 45 miles to junction 15 . Moffat is just 5 mins away. Hotel halfway up the high street on the right. We are approx. 50 miles from both Edinburgh and Glasgow.
