Astley House offers environmentally friendly basic value budget accommodation. It is only a 15-minute walk to the Minster & York city centre. All rooms are private with small shower rooms basins and toilets and the property is non-smoking throughout. Please take a moment to read through the following terms and conditions before booking. All bookings are advance purchase - fully pre-paid non-refundable and non-transferable. The total cost of room/s and a £60 security deposit per room will be charged at the time of booking. Deposits are refunded on the day of departure. We found it reaches most guests accounts by midnight but it can take up to 72 hours. A mobile number is required to receive a self check-in message on your day of arrival. It is only possible to check in with the self check-in codes from 12:00 21:00. By making a reservation you agree to liability for breakages and damage caused. You also accept responsibility to read the common sense house rules in your bedroom. Bedding is provided free of charge but for environmental reasons we encourage all guests to bring their own fitted sheets duvet covers and pillowcases. Beds are not made to make it easier for guests who bring their own bedding. Towels are not included but can be rented for only £1 per towel. To keep room rates low and for environmental reasons room cleaning costs are £5 per hour for guests who do not want to do basic cleaning as they go along (wiping surfaces sweeping floor and recycling). Breakfast is not included. Check out is by 10:00. No luggage storage facilities are available. Astley House has no lift and most of our standard double rooms and single rooms are on the 3rd floor All rooms are en-suite (showers basins and toilets) FREE Wi-Fi internet throughout the property. FREE private car park with limited spaces available on a first come first serve basis. (FREE parking also available opposite property 24 hours per day) Free coffee and tea making facilities in all rooms with a complimentary portion of coffee and tea provided per person per day.

Directions to Astley House YORK

The shortest route to walk from the rail station is by exiting through the back entrance footpath/cycle route and crossing the railway pedestrian bridge walking from the other side turning north or left up the riverside path which takes about 25 minutes. Please see the link below for directions. goo.gl/S4b6Yd From the A64 join the outer city Ring Road (A1237) & proceed to the 6th roundabout(A19 York or Thirsk). Take the A19 towards York and after 1 and a half miles you ll find Astley House on the right hand side opposite the church. The Car park is situated behind Astley House. Travelling by Train York is now less than 2 hours from London s Kings Cross station and taxis are available on the station forecourt .
