It has an Industrial past that you can learn about from the local TICs and info boards along the way and it is also part of the Staffordshire Way walk. You will see Lime Kilns, Locks and Narrow Boats, The Old Mills (now private residences) A good pub can be found at Consul with good food too! and another in Cheddleton.
