Wisemans Bridge is now good for swimming too

Submitted by Lodge 29 Heritage Park on 03 May 2012

The Marnie Conservation Society compiles a Good Beach Guide each year, testing the water quality of Britain's beaches. Because the quality of the sparkling Welsh water was found to be so good, an extra eight Pembrokeshire beaches have been designated as officially recognised bathing waters, including our very own beach at Wisemans Bridge. the beach has always been popular with our guests as it's just a short woodland walk away, has a great sand for castles and welcomes dogs all year round. With its own pub (the Wisemans Bridge Inn) and free parking it makes a great day trip from other accomodtion too.
