Amberley Guest House
Prices at Amberley Guest House Bristol from £45.00 single, £75 double You’re sure of a warm welcome and a good night’s sleep at Amberley Guest House Bristol, where you’ll find comfortable beds and good-sized rooms in our Edwardian family home dating back to 1906. There’s plenty to choose from on the varied breakfast menu, including traditional English bacon and fine hand-made sausages from our local butcher, Millhouse Bros, Free-range eggs are provided by our own pet hens in the back garden, and we’re always happy to cater for particular diets and tastes. You’ll find us in the peaceful setting of a quiet, tree-lined residential street just off the main A38 in north Bristol. Off-street parking is available and Amberley’s location is very convenient for getting around as we’re close to the main rail and road links. The M4, M5, M32 motorways and Bristol Parkway main line rail station are all within two miles, and the A4174 Bristol ring road is just a half mile away. We insist on quality beds and fluffy duvets in our well-proportioned bedrooms. Each room has an en suite shower, hostess tray, TV, hairdryer, and free WiFi internet access for your laptop computer. There are plenty of local places for lunch or dinner, or we can suggest some charming country pubs a short drive away. Bristol has all kinds of attractions to offer weekend visitors – the Waterfront area with cafés and entertainments, Clifton for boutique shopping, Bristol Zoo Gardens, Brunel's famous Suspension Bridge and the SS Great Britain, and The Mall at Cribbs Causeway or Cabot Circus for chain stores. There’s much more, of course – so do visit us to explore the city or the surrounding countryside. For more information, please see our website. Meanwhile, we look forward to welcoming you to our home. Liz and Brian Stockdale.

Breakfast: Fresh golden-yolk eggs are provided by our own free range chickens. Smoked back bacon and black puddings are supplied by our local butchers, the Millhouse Family, who also make the sausages. Full breakfast also includes hash browns, tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans and a variety of cereals and teas/coffees. We can offer vegetarian sausages and, with a little notice, can usually cater for special diets.

Rooms: All our rooms are tastefully decorated, and have full en suite facilities with shower, WC and wash basin. Each room has a flat screen colour TV, a hostess tray with a variety of teas and coffee, and free WiFi internet for your own laptop computer.

Parking: We have off-street parking available for up to 10 cars, including some parking in tandem. Parking is free of charge.

Wifi: WiFi is available free of charge in the guest bedrooms.

Pets: Yes, we are pet friendly and recognise that pets are part of the family and need holidays too! We're happy to accept well-behaved dogs, as long as they are not allowed on the beds or left unattended for hours at a time. Pets are not permitted in every bedroom, so if you are planning to bring your pet you will need to let us know when booking.

Families: We have a couple of larger rooms that will easily take an extra bed or two, or your own travel cot. Please call us for details and availability.

Disabled Facilities: Access to our home is from the wide and level driveway with one step into the house via two front doors (85cm wide). We have one ground floor single guest room, although the en suite is not large enough to accommodate a wheelchair. Other guest rooms are on the first floor (17 stairs) or second floor (32 stairs). Level access to the breakfast room is just off the hallway, and again the doorway is wide enough (74cm) for most wheelchairs to access.
