BONSYDE HOUSE HOTEL
Welcome to the Bonsyde House Hotel in Linlithgow near Edinburgh, an attractive Country House which is a Grade 2 listed building dating back to the nineteenth century. The house was once the home of Professor Charles Wyville Thomson, a respected oceanographer who is credited with being the first person to chart all seven seas. We are a privately run hotel, offering high quality accommodation, excellent food in our delightful Conservatory Restaurant, and the promise of a warm welcome in a relaxing and pleasant environment. Our chef takes great care in preparing only the best cuisine for our guests, using top quality fresh Scottish ingredients, including the game, lamb, beef, and seafood for which Scotland is justly famous. In addition to offering comfortable and conveniently located accommodation for holiday visitors to this part of Scotland, we are ideally equipped to cater for weddings, celebration occasions and both small and large business conferences. The hotel is located in Linlithgow, close to the famous Linlithgow Palace and the Forth Road and Rail Bridges. It is only 20 minutes from Scotland's capital city of Edinburgh, with its many attractions including Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace and the Royal Mile, as well as the new Scottish Parliament
