The Caerwylan Hotel Criccieth is a privately owned 3 star hotel situated in a fantastic location on the East shore of Criccieth's Esplanade. A landmark Victorian building having undergone an extensive refurbishment programme over the past 5 years to create 24 comfortable contemporary en-suite bedrooms, a relaxing, sea facing Lounge and Bar and Elegant Restaurant(new for 2012). The Caerwylan faces south and commands stunning views over the main beach and Cardigan Bay. Our restaurant is open to residents and non residents for dinner seven days a week from 6pm to 9pm. The Head Chef uses good, local suppliers as much as possible and the varied menu changes daily. We are also open for Sunday Lunch from noon. Non residents are also very welcome for morning coffee a light lunch or afternoon tea which is served in the sea facing lounge or bar and during the summer months in our garden. Facilities at the Hotel include:- Lift to all floors (from the lift to the bedrooms generally 6 stairs); - South facing garden on the west side of the hotel - A spacious lounge with superb sea views;- south facing bar with a wide selection of beers lagers wines and spirits; - Private garages @ £1.50 per night. - Guest PC and WIFI on the ground floor (both free); The Caerwylan is a great base to explore Snowdonia the beautiful beaches of the Lleyn Peninsula and the many famous steam railways and castles North Wales has to offer.
