Canterbury Tales
Ever wondered what it would be like to go back in time and experience the sights, sounds and smells of a bygone era? At The Canterbury Tales Canterbury you can do just that. Step into medieval Canterbury and accompany Geoffrey Chaucer and his colourful characters on their piligrimage from London to the shrine of St Thomas Beckett at Canterbury Cathedral. Along the way, their stories of love, jealousy and trickery are vividly recreated with all the fun and excitement of Chaucer's famous tales. Set within the rich history of this medieval city, The Canterbury Tales Canterbury lets you visit another world.

Families: Our attraction is specifically aimed at bringing parents and children together to something they can all enjoy! Geoffrey Chaucer's Tales are a national heritage and appeal to those of all ages, which is why we have a special children's audio guide as well as the standard English audio guide for the parents.

Disabled Facilities: The historic layout and design of our site (a 14th Century church) makes access slightly more difficult for some visitors. However, we have ramps and lifts and dedicated staff to ensure that those with physical disabilities may fully enjoy the attraction. We also have a hearing loop fitted, as well as wheelchair accessible toilet facilities.
