Prices at Castle Arms Hotel Thurso from £60 b and b A 9 bed hotel on the A836 between Thurso and John O' Groats and yards from the entrance to the Castle of Mey, the late Queen Mother's summer residence. Only 2 miles from Gill's Bay ferry terminal for Orkney. We have a public bar, lounge bar and 30 seater restaurant with locally acclaimed chef, Lance Purcell in charge. Close to Dunnett Head, the most northerly point of mainland Britain and many other attractions. There is a grocery store on site selling bread, milk, tinned goods, alcohol and tobacco, frozen food and general kitchen products. We also sell Calor Gas. It is hoped to have a camp site with electric plugins for motor homes in the Spring of 2013.

Breakfast: Breakfast is a full Scottish breakfast, smoked haddock or cereals etc of your choosing.

Rooms: Rooms have been equipped with new bedding, lamps, flat screen TVs with Freeview, bedside cabinets and kettles. All beds have all night electric blankets.

Parking: Large free car park on site.

Wifi: Free wifi in lounge bar. We hope to extend this to all areas in the near future.

Pets: Our courtyard rooms are pet friendly and we can offer blankets for your pet to sleep on. Pets are welcome in our public bar.

Families: Many rooms have a double and single bed and we also offer two family suites comprising two double rooms.

Disabled Facilities: We have one specific disabled room in the courtyard with level access from the car park and a ramp. The en-suite is designed for wheelchair use and is being refurbished over the next few weeks.
