As the owners we have tried to think of everything we would like to find when we have stayed in holiday rentals, then thought and added more. The cottages are suitable for 4 adults. Apart from £15.00 if you bring your pet, there are no extras when booking, all power, linen, towels, + central heating is included. There is freesat satellite, with flat screen TV, surround sound DVD system, + stereo, for entertainment. With full size cooker, dishwasher, fridge, and freezer, with more than sufficient pots pans and crockery . Well behaved pets are welcome. Swallows cottage is suitable for guests with mobility problems. Each cottage has full central heating throughout, plus an open fireplace in which to have a real log fire. Each cottage has two bedrooms provide ample space for up to four adults. The fitted kitchen/dining room has everything you may need, including an integrated electric oven and hob, a full size dishwasher, (we don't believe anyone should have to wash up on holiday) a washing machine, and a fridge and freezer. There's a microwave for those quick snacks. We provide all pots, pans, crockery, and bed linen. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, looking out over the rolling countryside down to the Llangollen Steam railway, or watching the sun rise at the end of the valley. Relax in the lounge, with a real log fire roaring in the grate, toasting crumpets at breakfast, marshmallows at lunch, chestnuts at tea time and toes in between. Enjoy a walk down to the river, watch the sheep, the trains, or just sit and observe a large variety of wild birds. There are numerous walks in the close area, explore infrequently used pathways, find absolutely breathtaking views in one of the UK's best kept secret areas. For those who enjoy more sedate activities, take the Llangollen canal boat trip, travel down the valley on the steam trains, or wander round Chirk castle, Plas Nwydd, or Erdigg and their grounds. For the more adventurous there are such activities as white water rafting, canoeing, to gorge walking and climbing offered locally.
