Gwyndy Mawr Caravans
Gwyndy Mawr Caravans Harlech is ideally located for a relaxing break in the splendour of the Snowdonia National Park. Situated three miles north of the historic town of Harlech with it's famous 13th Century Castle, excellent restaurants/cafe's enjoying magnificent views across Cardigan Bay. Amongst it's facilities are an indoor swimming pool, the beautifully situated Theatre Ardudwy and the Royal St. David's Golf Club, a famous 18 hole links course. For miles around you will experience the drama and beauty of the magnificent landscape of Southern Snowdonia. On our estuary beach, as well as bird watching (or you could visit the Ospreys - a 15 mins drive) you overlook Portmeirion (the Italianate Village used as the original setting for the "The Prisoner"). Within easy reach is the Ffestiniog Railway, the slate mines of Blaenau Ffestiniog and Llanfair Slate Quarry/Childrens Farm Park which were both used in the making of the Hollywood Film "First Knight". Try beautiful scenic walks or for an 'activity holdiay' there is horse riding, fishing, quad biking - or just lazing on a beautiful beach. It's all here so why don't you come and look for yourselves!
