Hanbury Hall: National Trust
A stunning early 18th-century House set in 20 acres of beautifully restored formal Gardens and 393 acres of Park designed by George London. Inside a mix of interiors await to be discovered, from the restored Hercules rooms and recreated Gothic corridor, to the Smoking Room and magnificent recently restored staircase wall paintings by Sir James Thornhill. Features in the gardens include the intricately laid out parterre, fruit garden, grove, orangery, orchard and bowling green. Park walks enable you to explore the surrounding countryside. There is also a year-round events programme including family activity days, concerts, open-air theatre productions, art exhibitions and themed weekends.

Parking: Free parking provided on-site.

Families: We have a children's play area and an area with outdoor games within the gardens. During the school holidays we run family activity days where families can do trails around the grounds (often with prizes) or do a 'make and take' craft activity. In December children can pay a visit to Father Christmas, and there are also other family event weekends throughout the year, such as Hallowe'en and Teddy Bear's Picnics where activities are organised specifically for children.

Disabled Facilities: There is designated parking, drop-off points and buggy transport available for disabled visitors. In addition we have maps showing disabled access/routes to the gardens, and accessible toilets, tea-room, shop and seating. There is also a braille guidebook and a large print information guide available upon request.
