Breakfast is served in the dining room giving you the opportunity to enjoy the south facing garden and the morning sun. Fresh crusty bread, local free range eggs, local bacon and sausages, jams and marmalades from our local farmers market are just part of the extensive choice of breakfasts cooked to order. The en-suite shower room comes complete with complimentary toiletries, luxury towels and bathrobes. Both of our rooms are well equipped, with TV/DVD, tea/coffee making facilities, free wifi internet access, radio/alarm clock with ipod docking station, hairdryer. We are conveniently situated on the A386 Okehampton-Tavistock road, in the village of Mary Tavy. Homeleigh is an excellent base for exploring Cornwall and Devon, or take advantage of the many leisure amenities that are locally available, beautiful walks, cycling routes (National Cycle Route 27), rivers, gorges and lakes, medieval history, fishing, golf, excellent restaurants and country pubs. The historic market town of Tavistock is just 5 minutes away, with its fabulous pannier and farmers' market as well as many independent boutiques, gift, and antique shops as well as many fine restaurants. Head across the moorland towards Okehampton, or visit the natural waterfalls at Lydford Gorge, before heading to the north Devon and north Cornwall coastline. Alternatively head south to the famous maritime port of Plymouth, 30 minutes by car, or explore the coast of south Devon and Cornwall. The cathedral city of Exeter is a mere 45 minutes by car. Beaches are not far, the Eden Project is just over an hour's drive away, for those who like fine food, there are a number of excellent restaurants nearby - the list is endless, and you'll be spoilt for choice!
