Parking: We have a free car park which is situated at the Park entrance, we also offer a overflow car park for busy days.

Pets: Unfortunately we do not allow dogs into the park, this includes guide dogs, due to the fact we have free roaming animals. Some guests here at the park chose to leave their dogs in cars, which they do so at their own risk and discretion. Please be aware that there is little to no shade in the car park and it can get very hot in cars although we do provide a stamp system whereas you can leave the park as many times as you like in which to check on your dog.

Families: We are family friendly and offer a wide range of family activities included the feeding of many of our animals for example Giraffes/Penguins/Lemurs/Kangaroos/Emus. 2011 saw the launch of a new family and budget friendly menu slashing prices and the introduction of fresh healthier options. Fresh salads, freshly made baguettes, chilli, are just some of the new additions. Kids can choose from a variety of tasty and healthier options now priced at £2.50 with adult meal deals from £4.99.

Disabled Facilities: Unfortunately we do not have a discount scheme or wheel chair/motor scooter hire facility available for disabled and their carers at this current time. Should you own or be able to obtain a motorised scooter or wheelchairs then you are more than welcome to bring them into the park. The park is fully wheel chair accessible, with disabled toilets and parking facilities. There are a number of benches sited throughout the park for your convenience. Being situated in Cumbria there a couple of areas which due to the natural gradient of the land can prove a little difficult however if at any time you find you need assistance any member of staff will be only too pleased to help.
