Sunnyside B and B is located in a quiet rural setting, a 15 minutes drive from Cork city, the second largest city in the Irish republic, and a mere 5 minute drive from the famous Blarney Castle and gardens. This historic castle is most famous for the “Blarney Stone”, which, tradition says, has the power of conferring eloquence on all who kiss it. There are two golf courses within a 3 minute drive of Sunnyside. Other attractions within a one hour drive are the Jameson whiskey distillery in Midleton and the Cobh Heritage Centre, which is focused on the estimated 2.5 million emigrants who left Ireland. Cobh was also the last port of call of the Titanic.
On arrival at Sunnyside B&B, refreshments are provided. There are four spacious rooms, all en suite. The building is wheelchair and guide dog friendly with a roll-in shower for the disabled. Each room has flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, hair dryer & tea/coffee making facilities. Check in time is from 3 pm. If arriving later than 7 pm please phone Sunnyside B&B with your arrival time. There is a wide choice of cooked and fresh produce for breakfast.

Rooms: All rooms have been recently (2012) renovated. Each is en-suite, has new flat screen television, Wi-Fi, coffee and tea making facilities and hair dryer

Pets: We particularly welcome guide dogs. Sunnyside is an ideal location for the DOG SHOW in Inniscarra Community Centre
Families: One room is particularly large and has two double beds with the possibility of adding a single or a cot. (The cot can be set up in any of the rooms). Children under four are free: those between 4 and 12 are charged half the adult rate. In front of Sunnyside there is a large green area where children can play football or other games, in safety. If they wish to try our national game of hurling, hurling sticks (or camáns) are supplied. Babysitting available.
Disabled Facilities: The ‘wet room’ is 10 ft.x 7 ft. and has been specifically furnished to cater for wheelchair users, with external ramp, wide bathroom doorway, grab rails for toilet and shower, roll- in shower, shower chair & static chair and extra wheelchair for shower provided etc. Touch lamp by bed
