The Castle Restaurant opened its doors on the 18th October 2007. Run by Chef Kit Davis, and his wife Katie, the restaurant offers a informal atmosphere in which to relax and enjoy beautifully prepared food and an excellent wine and cocktail list. Kit has over 12 years experience in top London kitchens and is now able to fulfil his dream of running his own fine dining restaurant in his home town. With spectacular sea views, top quality food and service and a fantastic atmosphere, The Castle Restaurant offers the best in modern dining. We offer a set lunch menu for £12.50 2 Courses and £15 for 3 Courses. In the evenings choose from our A La Carte menu or our 7 Course tasting menu for £37.50. We only use fresh, local, seasonal ingredients and work closely with local suppliers, farmers and fishermen enabling us to use the best local ingredients available to us at any time. Families and children are welcome and catered for. We are happy to serve any of our dishes half size for children and also offer mini fish and chips or pasta with tomato sauce for the less adventurous! Outside seating in fine weather on our patio.
