The Channel Guest House
Prices at The Channel Guest House Weymouth from £40 The Channel is a Dorset bed and breakfast situated in a beautiful grade II listed Georgian town house. Originally built in 1797 and located on Weymouths famous Esplanade, our bed and breakfast is opposite Weymouth's award winning central beach and looks out over Weymouth Bay, which is a view which has to be experienced to be fully appreciated. As a family run business, we're here to provide a warm welcome in comfortable surroundings and to make your experience within the house and in Weymouth a memorable one that will have you wanting to come back again and again.

Breakfast: Breakfast is something to look forward to with the majority of the ingredients being locally sourced from farms and producers in and around Weymouth. Food is cooked to order so it's always freshly done. We get many compliments about the quality of our breakfast.

Parking: Parking is either on the street at the front or the back of the building, and is managed by way of parking permits that will be given to you at check-in time. If the on street parking is full we also hold a number of permits for the Swannery car park which is 4-5 minutes walk away.

Wifi: We do offer wireless internet access and this completely free of charge to our guests.

Pets: We are happy to accept registered assistance dogs, however we're afraid we don't accept pets.

Families: We have three family rooms, two of which sleep 4 and one that sleeps 3. Each room has a double bed and 1 or 2 full size single beds, so we don't ever use any form of temporary or camp beds to ensure that everyone is comfortable and fully rested to enjoy your holiday. we have cots and high chairs available on request. We're across the road from the award winning central beach, a short distance from the fairground rides at Alexandra gardens and from the Sea life centre.

Disabled Facilities: The building is 214 years old and is grade II listed, so we aren't allowed to install wheelchair ramps or lifts etc, so there are quite a few steps involved in getting to rooms up the house. This means that we're not as disabled friendly as we would like. So dependant upon your level of mobility may depend on whether we can offer you accommodation, as we always want to ensure you are comfortable and well looked after. If we can't help we will always try to recommend accommodation providers in newer buildings who do have the facilities you require.
