Prices at The Old Lamb Reading from £40 The Old Lamb Reading Hotel (formerly a coaching inn) dates back to 1487 and is one of the oldest buildings in Theale. Constructed of old brick, beneath a thatched roof, the Breakfast room in the main Cottage, takes you back in time with its beamed walls and ceilings. It boasts a large fireplace bearing the Royal Coat of Arms of Henry VII (1485-1589), which provides comfort and warmth and the informality which our guests appreciate. In the past the Inn had the patronage of many of the famous including highwayman Dick Turpin. Presently the Hotel caters mainly for business people, tourists and casual travellers. The Old Lamb Reading is renowned for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere.Nineteen rooms are located in the Cottage annexe, which is immediately adjacent to the main Hotel. They are all fully en suite with television, direct dial telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. Ample parking is also available within the grounds.Your custom is always appreciated at The Old Lamb Reading where you can always be sure of a warm welcome.

Breakfast: We do a full English breakfast, with cereals and fruit juces.

Rooms: All our rooms are in the anex building at the back of the property, and have 24 hour access.

Parking: We have our own carpark at the rear of the reception building.

Pets: We allow dogs in some of the rooms, but must be mentioned at the time of booking.
