Wilfs Cafe is a friendly cafe and outside catering business located in Staveley Mill Yard, nr Kendal in the Lake District. Difficult to find and not obvious even when you get into The Mill Yard, Wilf’s Café deserves to be found for all sorts of reasons.... Based in the old Bobbin Loft with some of the old line workings still in place, we have traditional seating plus a cosy sofa area inside plus decking over looking the river Kent for warmer days. The Café offers great breakfasts, daily specials including meaty, veggie & fishy dishes, home-made cakes and afternoon teas. The menu offers good wholesome, value for money meals that are all cooked on the premises. Local ingredients & specialities are used including Organic milk from one local farm and eggs are free range from another! Linked to the Hawkshead Beer Hall for day time drinks, both are available to hire in the evening, separately or together for an excellent party venue. With plenty of parking, it’s worth the search!
