The Union Windmill, Cranbrook - Built in 1814 the Union Mill is a Grade 1 listed industrial building and the tallest surviving smock Mill in Britain (and it actually grinds wheat solely on windpower!) It was renovated in 2002 and stands at the highest point in Cranbrook, is in perfect working order and has views from the top to die for! Well worth a visit the Mill opens from April to the end of October each year - look out for opening times.
